Choco Milko

Expel chocolate milk from school lunches: activist

Chocolate milk is "soda in drag" and should be booted out of US school cafeterias, ..

"If kids choose chocolate milk over white milk for an entire year they are liable to gain 2.5 to 3 pounds (1-1.5 kilograms) and over 10 years that's 25 to 30 pounds,"

"We already have an obesity crisis in this country," said Cooper, who is currently the director of nutrition services for schools in Boulder, Colorado, where she has had chocolate and other flavored milks expelled from local schools and replaced with cold, plain organic milk.

Ridiculous. If i were a student there and they banned chocolate milk then I wouldn't drink milk at all. Chocolate Milk FTW!!

Singapore Idol

Ok this is going to be a Singapore Idol review post muhahahaha. (and probably the longest post of the history of MillDogg Blawg 2.0) I just need to get this off of my chest so i can move on with my life peacefully. So tonight was the top 3 performance of Sing Idol, and it consisted of all my favorite contestants! Tabitha, Sylvia, and Sezairi. Bear in mind that this was my 4th time watching Sing Idol so i am not a fan of SI, ok! lol.

anyway. I always thought that Sylvia has the strongest vocal (although her falsetto is kind of horrible, but as long as she doesn't do falsetto it's all good). But she has the tendency to imitate the original singer of the song she's singing (at least of all 4 shows that i watched), but then again, this is not American Idol, so it doesn't really matter.

Not!

This week was the judges' choice of songs, and for Sylvia, Ken picked Angel by Sarah McLachlan as her first song. It's ... um.. yeah. She sounds like she wanted to imitate Sarah, complete with the falsetto and all, which failed, but! The judges raved about her! I guess watching live and watching on TV really makes the difference. Her second performance was much better tho, maybe because i didn't know the song.

So i think i'll give the trophy of best performance to... Tabitha! I think she pwnd everyone tonight, and she's really good, aside from not being able to reach the high note at the end of the second song (Superwoman), but still, she's so good! It even made me forget that she once butchered Halo (by beyonce) or that christina aguilera's song. It's kind of funny to see Ken kept ~subtly~ predicting that Tabitha was the one that going to be kicked out tonight

Last but not least, Sezairi! He's my favorite contestant, because he's got a unique voice, and jazzy, so he's definitely stand out. Probably need to polish his vocal a bit and he's all good. His first song (Your Body is A Wonderland by John Mayer) was.. meh.. but his second song (Buble's I Just Haven't Met You Yet) was quite good! His voice is so different than Buble yet so suitable for the song.

So! To end this worthless post, I'm going to ~vote~* for my favorite for the night: Tabitha and Sezairi for the Grand Finalists!!! The result show will be on in 15 mins!

*"Vote" as in pick my favorite, not real voting by sms/call.
